CE meets Vietnam president

Chief Executive CY Leung called on Vietnamese President Truong Tan Sang today, to promote Hong Kong as a super-connector for doing business with China.
 
Mr Leung is in Manila to attend the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation CEO Summit.
 
Mr Leung said relations on all levels and on all fronts between Hong Kong and Vietnam have been progressing smoothly and well.
 
He noted the bilateral trade volume between the two places increased at an annual rate of 22% in the last five years.
 
He believed freight transport by air and sea between Vietnam and Hong Kong will be more convenient when the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge opens.
