Government offices safeguarded

Police are working hard to safeguard the Central Government Offices and the Chief Executive’s Office, Chief Executive CY Leung said.
 
He condemned the protesters outside the Chief Executive’s Office for obstructing Police vehicles and ambulances, preventing their access to the government buildings.
 
He noted that last night, protesters insisted on checking an ambulance before allowing it to enter the Chief Executive's Office.
 
The Central Government Offices and the Chief Executive’s Office are critically significant, and the Government will not tolerate protesters' continued blockade.
 
Police will take appropriate action to stop the blockade, he added.
