Police are investigating a traffic accident in North Point which killed a 59-year-old man today.

At about 3.30pm, a taxi travelling on Victoria Park Road westbound reportedly lost control and hit a van and a car in the neighbouring lane when reaching the junction with the Island Eastern Corridor.

The 59-year-old taxi driver was rushed to Ruttonjee Hospital where he was certified dead at 3.43pm.
