Secretary for Security Ambrose Lee has expressed concern over the treatment of Hong Kong journalists by police in Urumqi, Xinjiang.

Speaking after an anti-drug function today he said press freedom and the free flow of information are some of Hong Kong's core values.

He said the Hong Kong Government has expressed its concern to officials in Beijing.
