Firefighters extinguished an early-morning No. 3 alarm fire in Yau Ma Tei today in under an hour.
The fire broke out at 466 Nathan Road at 4.31am and was upgraded to No.3 alarm at 4.38am.
The blaze was put out about 47 minutes later - at 5.18am - after firefighters used three jets and four breathing apparatus teams to fight it.
Fire Services Department Kowloon South's Acting Divisional Officer Wu Yiu-cheong said the fire had affected two floors of the building. The entire building and nearby residents were evacuated.
Its cause may have been related to burning incense, he added.
