The Department of Justice has filed the necessary papers to commit individuals bound by an injunction order against Citizens' Radio's unlicenced broadcasting activities for contempt of court.
The department is now considering the position on other people who might have assisted in violating the injunction by participating in the unauthorised broadcast.
The department reiterated that anyone who assisted in the violation of the injunction - including taking part in any unauthorised broadcast with knowledge of the injunction - may also constitute contempt of court.
