A 44-year-old man has been charged for allegedly murdering his 25-year-old wife in a Tsuen Wan flat in 1997.

He will appear in Tsuen Wan Magistracy this afternoon.

On December 17, 1997, the woman was found dead in a flat on Sha Tsui Road in Tsuen Wan. Her husband left for the Mainland on the same day.

The Mainland Public Security officers located him in Lo Wu on April 10 this year and returned him to the Hong Kong Police on May 2.
