A 16-year-old boy has died after being found with injuries to his head and hands in a park in Quarry Bay. Police have classified the case as murder.

A security guard found the teenager outside a football-pitch changing room in Quarry Bay Park at about 2.35am.

He called Police and the boy was sent to Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital where he was certified dead at 3am.

Hong Kong Island's Regional Crime Unit is investigating.
