Sai Wan Ho blaze sends 3 to hospital

Three people were sent to hospital after a No. 3 alarm fire broke out in the Tai On Building in Sai Wan Ho.

 

Firefighters used one jet and two breathing apparatus teams to fight the blaze which broke out at 3.27 this morning. It was upgraded to a No. 3 alarm at 3.37am.

 

Firefighters led 14 people to a safe place as they battled to put out the fire on the first floor of the building, at 57-87 Shau Kei Wan Road.

 

They succeeded in extinguishing the blaze at 4.23am.
