Man charged with indecency towards a child

Police today charged a 32-year-old man with one count of indecent conduct towards child under 16.

He was arrested on January 7 and will face the charge in Tsuen Wan Magistrates' Courts tomorrow.

Earlier this month an anonymous letter with two rewritable compact discs was sent to police, alleging that a man who operates a Tsuen Wan tuition school had indecently assaulted underage girls.

Some photos and video clips of possible victims were stored on the discs. Similar materials are believed to have been sent to a local newspaper.

Computers, rewritable CDs and photo albums were seized at the suspect's home and at his office in Nam Fung Centre.
