Van crashed in computer parts robbery

Police are investigating a robbery in which $16 million worth of computer processors were taken in Yuen Long today.

Two cars ran the van carrying the goods off Kam Pok Road near Fairview Park at about 11am. Three men armed with a stun gun tied up and assaulted the 44-year-old driver and pushed him into one of the cars.

One of the culprits then drove the van away.

The car was abandoned on Luk Keng Road where the victim untied himself and called Police. He was treated in North District Hospital for slight injuries.

Police urge witnesses and anyone with information on the case to call Yuen Long District Crime Squad at 2473 8360 or Yuen Long Police Station's report room at 2473 8200.
