Police appeal for information in Wan Chai murder

Police still have no motive for the murder of a 41-year-old woman found dead at the Yacht Club on Kellett Island in Wan Chai on December 16. They are appealing to the public for information.

A cleaner found the victim, a senior manager of the club, in a pool of blood in her office on the first floor at about 6:30am.

A stab wound was found on her neck along with a possible blow to her head. Her body was covered with a garbage bag.

Some of the dead woman's personal belongings,  including a platinum ring, handbag, wallet and watch, were missing.

The Hong Kong Island Regional Crime Unit's investigations into the death are continuing.

Anyone who has information on the case is urged to contact the investigating officers at 2859 8500.
