The one-off application fee for each Integrated Registration Information System Online Services subscriber account will be halved to $1,000 from October 1, the Land Registry announced today.

The minimum deposit for each subscriber account will also be halved to $500 or an amount equivalent to two months' estimated transaction volume of the account, whichever is higher.

Existing subscribers with low transaction volume can apply for a reduction in the deposit.
