Ready for action: The Lok Ma Chau Spur Line Public Transport Interchange will begin operation on August 15, providing public transport services for visitors travelling to and from the Mainland.

The Lok Ma Chau Spur Line Control Point will open for public use at 4pm on August 15. It will initially operate 16 hours a day from 6.30am to 10.30pm, for the convenience of passengers who need to interchange with the Shenzhen metro line 4's last train at 11pm.

Shenzhen and Hong Kong Authorities will review the operating condition and passenger flow three months later to assess when to extend the operating hours to midnight, the Transport Department said.
