Coroner to probe boy's death

The Coroner's Court will investigate the death of an eight-year-old boy who developed encephalitis symptoms and died in Tseung Kwan O Hospital at the weekend.

 

The Sai Kung boy came down with fever, vomiting and convulsions yesterday and attended Tseung Kwan O Hospital.

 

He had no recent travel history and no signs of respiratory illness or hand-foot-mouth disease. He tested negative for influenza-A virus.
