Astronauts Fei Junlong and Nei Haisheng told students at the forum about their demanding training programmes and the space mission.
It started a busy morning for the delegation which also visited the Science Park and Sha Tin Racecourse where they were briefed on Hong Kong's preparation for holding equestrian events for the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
They toured the Yuen Yuen Research Centre for Satellite Remote Sensing at the university and viewed the operation of the Ground Satellite Receiving Station - the first high resolution ground receiving station of remote sensing satellites in southern China.
They also got an update about the Science Park's latest development in applied science and viewed laboratory facilities inside the integrated circuit design development and support centre.
