The Commission on Youth has commissioned the University of Hong Kong to conduct the first benchmark survey on youth civic engagement and social networks.

The survey will be conducted through face-to-face interviews from October to January. Respondents, aged 15 to 24, will be selected by random sampling.

The study will help the commission formulate promotional programmes. Survey results are expected early next year.
