Marriage services extended on auspicious days

Marriage registries will extend ceremony services to meet demand on auspicious days this year.

 

All registries, except City Hall, will extend services from midday to 1pm on September 6, November 1 & 8 and December 13 & 27.

 

Ceremony services on the afternoons of September 6 and November 8 at City Hall, Cotton Tree Drive, Tsim Sha Tsui and Sha Tin will be extended to 7pm. As a result, 230 appointments will be available on each of these two auspicious Saturdays.

 

Cotton Tree Drive, Tsim Sha Tsui and Sha Tin will also extend their marriage ceremony services on the afternoons of November 1 and December 13. A total of 174 appointments will be available on each of these Saturdays.

 

People intending to get married on these Saturdays can make an appointment for giving their marriage notice, at the earliest, at 8am on May 23, July 18 and 25, August 30, and September 13. For Internet bookings, the website is http://marriage.esd.gov.hk.

 

The public can also access the booking service via the 100 Electronic Service Delivery public information kiosks installed in MTR and KCR stations, and other convenient locations. For bookings by phone, call 3102 3883.
