Water quality at 27 beaches has been rated 'good' and six 'fair' for this weekend.

Cafeteria New Beach, Cafeteria Old Beach, Kadoorie Beach and Middle Bay Beach have been upgraded from fair to good.

Seven beaches - Anglers', Approach, Ting Kau, Casam, Gemini, Hoi Mei Wan and Lido - are closed to swimmers year round because of poor water quality. People should not swim at these beaches.

People should also avoid swimming at beaches for up to three days after a storm or heavy rainfall.
