An intense winter monsoon will hit the south China coast tomorrow bringing cold, cloudy and rainy weather for the rest of the week, the Hong Kong Observatory warns.

It forecast temperatures to fall to 12 degrees in the urban area, and a few degrees lower in the New Territories tomorrow night.
