Coastal & marine life digital photography & video competition

Underwater world: The Healthy Coastal & Marine Life Digital Photography & Video Competition is open until October 30.

A contest promoting the beauty of the coastal and marine environment and its conservation is open to submissions until October 30, the Agriculture, Fisheries & Conservation Department says.

The event, jointly held with the Underwater Association and Ocean Park, is open to all Hong Kong identity card holders. It is divided into open and student groups, covering items on shore and marine life as well as digital photography and videos. Those who join the marine items should hold qualified diving certificates while those who take part in the student group should have valid student cards.

Each participant can only join in either open group or student group, and can submit a maximum of three items. Works submitted will not be returned and they may be published or used in promoting marine environment conservation.

The deadline for submission is 4pm October 30. Works can be sent to the department's Marine Conservation (East) Division on 7/F, Cheung Sha Wan Government Offices, 303 Cheung Sha Wan Road; Underwater Association, Room 1026, Olympic House, 1 Stadium Path, So Kon Po, Causeway Bay; or Ocean Park, Aberdeen.
