The Environmental Protection Department meted out 62 pollution convictions in March.

Twenty-two were for air pollution, 15 for water pollution, 13 for noise pollution and 12 for illicit waste disposal.

The heaviest fine was $50,000 against a company that discharged waste into Tolo Harbour and the Channel Water Control Zone.
