Sixteen teams will vie for six awards in the final Schools Creative Music Showcase performance at Tsuen Wan Town Hall on January 27.

Each primary school team will select one of three designated sound projects and interpret it in a five-minute performance.

Secondary school teams will present their original music with movements, mime or dance performances in a seven-minute piece.

The teams are:

* Fukien Secondary School Affiliated School;

* PLK Tin Ka Ping Primary School;

* Pui Tak Canossian Primary School;

* Si Yuan School of the Precious Blood;

* SKH Kowloon Bay Kei Lok Primary School;

* Tai Po Old Market Public School (Plover Cove);

* Taoist Ching Chung Primary School;

* Taoist Ching Chung Primary School (Wu King Estate);

* Tseung Kwan O Catholic Primary School;

* Yan Oi Tong Tin Ka Ping Primary School;

* YLPMSAA Ying Yip Primary School;

* CCC Kei San Secondary School;

* The HKTA Ching Chung Secondary School;

* Ho Fung College (Sponsored by Sik Sik Yuen);

* Methodist College; and,

* PLK Wu Chung College

Prizes will be awarded for the best musical notation, the best sound design, the best music composition, the best musical interpretation, the best overall performance and the most original creative ideas.
