Marvin Cheung and Michael Mak have been appointed chairman and vice-chairman of the University of Science & Technology's Council for two years from April 1.

Secretary for Education Michael Suen welcomed their appointments saying the university will flourish under their leadership.

Mr Suen also thanked former chairman John Chan for his contribution and outstanding leadership.
