The Chief Executive in Council has today approved a short extension of time for the Commission of Inquiry on Allegations relating to the Hong Kong Institute of Education to submit its report to the Chief Executive.

The new date is June 20 as closing submissions in the inquiry will not be completed until June 6.

When appointed on February 15, the commission was asked to submit its report with findings and conclusions within four months, i.e. June 14.
