The Labour Department will hold a job fair offering 2,700 vacancies for job-seekers at Metro City in Tseung Kwan O on Wednesday, from 11am to 6pm. Admission is free.

Fifteen companies will set up counters at the job fair for on-the-spot recruitment, providing about 2,000 vacancies. Another 18 companies will display information regarding about 700 vacancies at the venue for direct application.

The participating companies are from retail, catering and property-management companies. The vacancies cover positions such as salesperson, cashier, customer service officer, waiter/waitress, sales representative and assistant property management officer.

Other positions available are clerk, computer operator, technician, cooks of various ranks, repair technician and managerial positions such as shop supervisor, deputy restaurant manager and sales manager.
