Cultural exchange: Students and teachers from Beijing arrived in Hong Kong to meet their local counterparts for a three-day visit.

More than 100 secondary schools will help entertain 380 teachers and students from Beijing who have arrived in Hong Kong for a three-day visit.

The group will visit Hong Kong University, Chinese University of Hong Kong, and two secondary schools to meet with local counterparts. They will also visit scenic spots and historical landmarks for sightseeing.

The tour extends a programme in which more than 600 students and teachers from 120 secondary schools visited Beijing last summer.

This year's visit aims to foster friendship and links between the youths of the two cities.

The teachers and students will travel to Macau after their visit and will return to Beijing on July 17.
