Committee on Home-School Co-operation Chairperson Cheung Kwok-wah and Subsidised Primary Schools Council head Lau Chi-keung have been appointed non-official members to the Education Commission from January 1 for two years.

The Government has also reappointed HK Special Schools Council head Simon Leung.

Speaking on the appointments, Secretary for Education & Manpower Prof Arthur Li said: "With their professional knowledge in various sectors of education, I am confident that they will be able to contribute useful ideas and provide effective support to the work of the commission."

Professor Li also thanked outgoing members Fung Man-ching and Sandra Tsang for their valuable contributions in the past years.
