People interested in positions as driver trainees, station assistants, officers, supervisors or technical staff on the East Rail Extension, be sure to catch the recruitment forum to be held at the Labour Department's Sha Tin Job Centre on December 12.

Applications will be accepted on the spot for these posts with monthly salaries ranging from $8,690 to $13,500.

Applicants for driver and station assistant, officer or supervisor posts must be Form Five graduates with five passes in the Certificate of Education Examinations and three years' relevant experience.

Applicants for other technical posts should have a Vocational Training Council Certificate in mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent qualifications with suitable experience.

The forum will be held at 2/F, Sha Tin Government Offices, 1 Sheung Wo Che Road, Sha Tin from 10am to 4pm.
