Job seekers are welcome to attend the Employment Information Post 2003 where they can learn more about 1,800 vacancies and apply for them on the spot.
The Labour Department and the Employees Retraining Board are holding the exhibition tomorrow to provide employment and retraining information and help employers recruit the right staff.
It will be held at the Stars Atrium, Podium Level 1, Hollywood Plaza, Diamond Hill from 10.30am to 6.30pm. Admission is free.
Twenty-seven companies from different industries and trades, including catering, retail, property management, security and manufacturing will join the event. Job seekers can apply for the jobs at the exhibition where potential employers will also conduct job interviews.
The vacancies cover positions such as restaurant manager, cook, shop manager, property management officer, shop assistant, sales assistant, waiter/waitress, security guard and domestic helper.
Employers invited to register job openings, too
Employers with job openings can also register them with the Labour Department on the spot. Information on the department's latest postings will also be available.
The exhibit will also feature talks and video shows on job opportunities in different industries, job-seeking techniques and employment and retraining services.
The Employment Retraining Board and 10 retraining institutes will accept on-the-spot registration for their retraining courses.
