Joe Wong was elected Sham Shui Po District Council member in a by-election held yesterday.

Some 1,938 electors of the Mei Foo Constituency cast their ballots, representing a turnout of 28.8%.

Mr Wong, a senior producer, got 849 votes and beat the other two candidates vying for the seat.
