Harbourfront to stage Xmas pop-up

December 9, 2022

Pop-up Christmas installations are launched at seven harbourfront sites, followed by a series of singing and dancing performances as well as workshops to highlight the vibrancy of Hong Kong's harbourfront.

The pop-up installations and related activities, presented by the Development Bureau and the Harbourfront Commission, are held under the theme "Your Show Time" at seven harbourfront sites.

They are the Belcher Bay Promenade in Kennedy Town, the Connector in Admiralty along the promenade between Tamar Park and the Convention & Exhibition Centre, HarbourChill and the Water Sports & Recreation Precinct in Wan Chai, the Revitalised Typhoon Shelter Precinct in Causeway Bay, the East Coast Park Precinct in Fortress Hill and the Tsuen Wan Promenade.

Decorated with a Christmas tree and installations with a particular music or dance style as its theme, each of the sites is turned into performance stage where the public can enjoy the shows with the harbour as a backdrop.

For three consecutive weekends starting tomorrow, music shows, ribbon dance performances and workshops will be staged at four of the harbourfront sites, namely the Belcher Bay Promenade in Kennedy Town, the HarbourChill and the Water Sports & Recreation Precinct in Wan Chai and the Tsuen Wan Promenade.
