Testing compliance check done

The Government today completed enforcement operations on a compulsory testing notice at Block B of Amoy Gardens in Ngau Tau Kok and Tower 1 of The Pacifica in Cheung Sha Wan.

 

The Department of Health together with Police, the Innovation, Technology & Industry Bureau and its departments conducted the Ngau Tau Kok enforcement action at 8am, while the Lands Department started the Cheung Sha Wan operation at 8.30am.

 

The Government arranged for staff to verify the testing certifications of people subject to compulsory testing at the buildings’ entrances and exits.

 

During the operations, the test records of 253 people in Block B of Amoy Gardens and 331 people in Tower 1 of The Pacifica were checked.

 

Among them, altogether 59 people were found to have violated the compulsory testing notice and were issued with a compulsory testing order.

 

A fixed penalty notice of $10,000 was also issued to a total of 21 of them.
