Health defence:

People subject to compulsory testing in the Sha Tin restricted area receive anti-epidemic proprietary Chinese medicines donated by the Central People’s Government or procured with its co-ordination.

The Government today announced that 14 COVID-19 cases were found in the compulsory testing exercises for the restricted areas in Sha Tin and Tai Po.

 

It made restriction-testing declarations yesterday to cover Kam Nga House of Kam Ying Court in Sha Tin and Tak Nga Court in Tai Po.

 

At Kam Nga House of Kam Ying Court, around 890 people underwent testing and six of them tested positive for the virus.

 

Eight positive and one indeterminate cases were detected at Tak Nga Court after 1,852 people were tested there.

 

The Centre for Health Protection will follow up on the cases.
