Chief Executive-elect John Lee today announced the Executive Council membership for the new-term Government.

The new council comprises 21 principal officials and 16 non-official members.

Their term will take effect on July 1.

The 16 non-official members are Regina Ip (Convenor), Prof Arthur Li,  Jeffrey Lam, Tommy Cheung, Martin Liao, Joseph Yam, Ronny Tong, Dr Lam Ching-choi, Kenneth Lau, Moses Cheng, Margaret Leung, Chan Kin-por, Eliza Chan, Dr Ko Wing-man, Stanley Ng and Gary Chan.

Mr Lee said he is grateful to the non-official members for accepting his invitation to serve, adding that their rich experience in various fields will provide valuable input when making important policy decisions.
