7 cases found in restricted areas

The Government today announced that seven COVID-19 cases were found in the compulsory testing exercises for the restricted areas in Kowloon Bay, Tsuen Wan and Tai Wai.

 

It made restriction-testing declarations yesterday to cover Blocks 5 and 6 of Richland Gardens in Kowloon Bay, Yeung Shue House of Lei Muk Shue Estate in Tsuen Wan and Fu Chung House of Mei Chung Court in Tai Wai.

 

At Blocks 5 and 6 of Richland Gardens, 1,270 people underwent testing and two of them tested positive for the virus.

 

Three positive COVID-19 cases were detected at Yeung Shue House after 1,895 people were tested there while two cases were identified at Fu Chung House where 940 people underwent testing.

 

There were also two indeterminate cases at Fu Chung House.

 

The Centre for Health Protection will follow up on the cases.
