Cantonese opera classics, Romance of the Phoenix Chamber and The Villain, the General & the Heroic Beauty, will be staged in June.

Presented by the Leisure & Cultural Services Department, the performances are part of the Cantonese Operas Across Time series.

Romance of the Phoenix Chamber will be performed at Kwai Tsing Theatre at 1.45pm and 7.30pm on June 11.

While The Villain, the General & the Heroic Beauty, will be staged at Kwai Tsing Theatre at 1.45pm on June 12.

A pre-performance talk will be held at the Cultural Centre at 7.30pm on June 9. Admission is free. Call 2268 7267 from 10am on May 30 to reserve seats.

The post-performance talk will be held right after the June 12 performance.
