4.89m vaccine doses administered

About 4,891,800 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered to the public, with about 2,853,400 people receiving their first dose and around 2,038,400 getting their second dose.

 

Among those given the first dose of vaccines, about 1,154,100 people have received the Sinovac jab and about 1,699,300 people have received the BioNTech one.

 

For the second dose, about 841,300 people have received the Sinovac vaccine, while about 1,197,000 people have been administered the BioNTech jab.

 

About 65,000 people received jabs under the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme today.

 

About 10,500 people received their first dose of the Sinovac vaccine and around 13,100 people received their second dose.

 

For the BioNTech vaccine, about 25,800 people received their first dose and about 15,600 people received their second dose.

 

The overall percentage of people who received the Sinovac vaccine at community vaccination centres is about 96%, while it is 98% for the BioNTech one.

 

As of 8pm, about 5,100 people booked their first and second doses of the Sinovac vaccine online, while about 37,100 reserved their first and second doses of the BioNTech jab.

 

As of midnight, seven people were sent to hospitals.
