Carol Or will assume the post of District Officer (Sha Tin) tomorrow, succeeding Janet Wong.

Miss Or joined the Administrative Service in 2002. She has served in various bureaus and departments, including the former Education & Manpower Bureau, the Home Affairs Department, the Financial Services & the Treasury Bureau, the Transport & Housing Bureau, the Hong Kong Economic & Trade Office in Geneva and the Commerce & Economic Development Bureau.

She was Assistant Commissioner for Tourism before taking up the new post.
