1.8m vaccine doses administered

About 1,805,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered to the public, with about 1,100,400 people receiving their first dose and about 704,600 getting their second dose.

 

Among those given the first dose of vaccines, about 486,000 people have received the Sinovac jab and about 614,500 people have received the BioNTech one.

 

For the second dose, about 348,000 people have received the Sinovac vaccine, while about 356,600 people have been administered the BioNTech jab.

 

About 4,100 people received their first dose of the Sinovac vaccine under the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme today.

 

Among them, about 1,700 people received the jab at community vaccination centres (CVCs), while about 2,500 people were inoculated at private doctors and clinics participating in the programme.

 

Around 3,400 people received their second dose of the Sinovac vaccine today, including about 1,500 vaccinated at CVCs and about 2,000 people through private doctors and clinics.

 

For the BioNTech vaccine, about 9,000 people received their first dose at CVCs and about 11,800 people received their second dose.

 

The overall percentage of people who received the Sinovac vaccine at CVCs is 95%, while for the BioNTech one it is 97%.

 

As of 8pm, about 3,100 people booked their first and second doses of the Sinovac vaccine online, while about 9,600 reserved their first and second doses of the BioNTech jab.

 

As of midnight, 11 people were sent to hospitals.
