About 1,196,700 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered to the public, with about 789,300 people receiving their first dose and about 407,400 people getting their second dose.

 

Among those given the first dose of vaccines, about 392,900 people have received the Sinovac jab and about 396,400 people have received the BioNTech one.

 

For the second dose, about 258,000 people have received the Sinovac vaccine, while about 149,400 people have been administered the BioNTech jab.

 

About 3,800 people received their first dose of the Sinovac vaccine under the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme today.

 

Among them, about 1,600 people received the jab at community vaccination centres (CVCs), while about 2,300 were inoculated at private doctors and clinics participating in the programme.

 

Around 8,000 people received their second dose of the Sinovac vaccine today, including about 5,600 people vaccinated at CVCs and about 2,400 people through private doctors and clinics.

 

For the BioNTech vaccine, about 11,500 people received their first dose at CVCs and about 200 people received their second dose.

 

The overall percentage of people who received the Sinovac vaccine at CVCs is 98%, while that of the BioNTech vaccine is about 94%.

 

As of 8pm, about 3,300 people had booked their first and second doses of the Sinovac vaccine online, while about 11,400 had reserved their first and second doses of the BioNTech jab.

 

As of midnight, eight people were sent to hospital.
