877k vaccine doses given

About 877,900 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered to the public, with about 597,400 people receiving their first dose and about 280,500 people getting their second dose.

 

Among those given the first dose of vaccines, about 351,800 people have received the Sinovac jab and about 245,600 people have received the BioNTech one.

 

For the second dose, about 156,100 people have received the Sinovac vaccine, while about 124,400 people have been administered the BioNTech jab.

 

About 3,100 people received their first dose of the Sinovac vaccine under the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme today.

 

Among them, about 1,400 people received the jab at eight community vaccination centres (CVCs), while about 1,700 were inoculated at private doctors and clinics participating in the programme.

 

Around 9,500 people received their second dose of the Sinovac vaccine today, including about 6,500 people vaccinated at CVCs and about 3,000 people through private doctors and clinics.

 

For the BioNTech vaccine, about 15,300 people received their first dose at 21 CVCs and about 15,100 people received their second dose.

 

The overall percentage of people who received the Sinovac vaccine at eight CVCs is 97%, while that of the BioNTech vaccine at 21 CVCs is about 96%.

 

As of 8pm, about 3,300 people had booked their first and second doses of the Sinovac vaccine online, while about 13,500 had reserved their first and second doses of the BioNTech one.

 

As of midnight, 10 people were sent to hospital.
