The Centre for Health Protection today said it is investigating 15 additional COVID-19 cases, of which 10 are locally transmitted and five are imported.

Among the local cases, four have unknown sources of infection.

One of the unlinked cases involves a 29-year-old male taxi driver. He last went to work on February 11 and developed a loss of taste on the same day.

He sought medical attention at a general outpatient clinic on February 18. His deep throat saliva sample collected on that day tested positive for the virus.

The second case involves a 42-year-old male private doctor who last went to work on February 18.

The remaining unlinked cases are a 70-year-old retired woman and a 51-year-old housewife.

A total of 244 cases have been recorded in the past 14 days, including 203 local cases of which 75 are from unknown sources.

Meanwhile, six buildings with one or more new confirmed cases are now subject to compulsory testing.

The compulsory testing notices also cover Radio Television Hong Kong Television House in Kowloon Tong where two or more confirmed cases have been detected. People who had worked or had been on duty at the premises from February 7 to 20 should undergo testing by February 22.

The Government will set up mobile specimen collection stations at Sau Mau Ping (South) Estate in Kwun Tong, Jubilee Garden in Fo Tan and North District Community Centre in Sheung Shui tomorrow.

Additionally, the service period of the mobile stations at Shek Lei Community Hall in Kwai Chung, Maple Street Playground in Sham Shui Po, On Hing Playground in Yuen Long and Tin Shui Sports Centre in Tin Shui Wai will be extended.

The one at Wong Chuk Hang Sports Centre will be relocated to Wong Chuk Hang Recreation Ground from February 22 and will be open until February 28 tentatively.
