4 more COVID-19 deaths recorded

The Hospital Authority announced that four COVID-19 patients, aged 76, 88, 92 and 95, passed away today, taking the number of COVID-19 patients who have died in public hospitals to 22.

 

The 76-year-old female patient, who had chronic disease, was admitted to Queen Elizabeth Hospital on July 21 due to cough and abdominal pain. Her condition continued to deteriorate and she eventually succumbed on July 26.

 

The 92-year-old male patient with chronic disease was admitted to Queen Elizabeth Hospital on July 7 due to shortness of breath and cough. He passed away this morning.

 

The 88-year-old male patient passed away at Queen Mary Hospital this morning while the 95-year-old female patient passed away at United Christian Hospital this afternoon.
