Carnival set for Hollywood Rd

June 14, 2017

The “Heritage Vogue • Hollywood Road” street carnival in Central will be held on July 1 and 2, bringing the iconic road’s unique ambience, rich history and heritage to the public.

On July 1, visitors can enjoy creative stalls, workshops and musical performances at PMQ.

On July 2, the section of Hollywood Road from Aberdeen Street to Wyndham Street will feature street dances, a cheongsam show, guided tours, sketching and exhibitions.

The Commissioner for Heritage's Office will organise the event with the Antiquities & Monuments Office, Tai Kwun, PMQ, the Antique & Art Galleries Association and Arts in Heritage Research.

The carnival is among the celebrations for the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

Pamphlets, route maps and magnetic badges will be distributed at visitor information counters on Hollywood Road and Upper Lascar Row.
