A roving Zoo Education Exhibition from December 5 to January 17 will spotlight extinct animals including the dodo, woolly mammoth and golden toad.
The Leisure & Cultural Services Department will first present the exhibition at the Zoological & Botanical Gardens, followed by Tai Po Waterfront Park, Tuen Mun Park, Yuen Long Park, Kowloon Park and Hong Kong Park.
It will display information panels with photos of extinct animals, to raise people’s interest in animal ecology and their awareness of nature conservation.
Meet-the-zookeepers sessions and guided tours will be held during the first two days.
