An exhibition of the acclaimed art historian Prof Wan Qingli's collection of Chinese art calligraphy will be held at the Museum of Art from December 13 until April 23.
The museum will showcase about 140 items, all given to Prof Wan by his teachers and friends as gifts, including paintings, calligraphy, seals and letters.
Officiating at the exhibition's opening ceremony today, Under Secretary for Home Affairs Florence Hui said the exhibits bear testimony to the social changes and development of art on the Mainland in the 20th century.
