The See, With Mind's Eye - Contemporary Dance Appreciation Worksho
p by Vanessa Cheung will investigate the nature of dance through interactive activities, video viewing and discussion in September and October.
Presented by the Leisure & Cultural Services Department, the workshop will look into the creative process and venture into the mind of a choreographer.
Cheung is a lecturer in Academic Studies in Dance at the Academy for Performing Arts and an independent artist. She has worked in different teaching settings, including the Institute of Education, the Hong Kong Ballet's Education & Outreach Unit, and City Contemporary Dance Company.
The workshops will be held at 7.30pm on September 2, 9, 16, 23, and 30, and October 7, 14, and 19 at Tsuen Wan Town Hall.
