The Sun Hon Kwong Chiu Chow Opera Troupe and the Guangdong Jieyang Chiu Chow Opera Troupe will perform three joint shows in Hong Kong in April.
Chiu Chow opera is a distinguished artistic genre, and many of its traditional themes are about family and love.
The Guangdong Jieyang Chiu Chow Opera Troupe includes top performers as well as young artists from theatre schools and performing companies, enabling the troupe to maintain its perpetual youthful energy.
The performances will be held at 7.30pm on April 1 at Ko Shan Theatre, and at 7.30pm on April 2 and 3 at Sheung Wan Civic Centre. There will be Chinese subtitles for lyrics and dialogue. Tickets are $100, $140 and $180 at URBTIX. Click
