The Thang Long Water Puppet Troupe from Hanoi will perform a traditional water puppetry show in the Cultural Centre Piazza in November.
The ancient Vietnamese art form shows the country's traditional rural life. Accompanied by live music, the puppets engage in farming, bullfighting, frog hunting, water play and parades.
There will also be Vietnamese
quan ho folk songs, which have been included in UNESCO's Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
The award-winning troupe is one of the most renowned performing arts groups in Vietnam.
The show will be staged at 8.15pm November 2 to 4, and at 3pm on November 5.
